Omar Apollo says he enjoys the “adrenaline” that comes with Facetime sex

Omar Apollo has pulled the curtain back on his virtual sex life and past experience with sugar daddies.

Since bursting onto the scene in 2017, the 26-year-old superstar has captivated music listeners with his immersive albums and heartwrenching/relatable lyrical content.

While he has earned acclaim for his dynamic artistry, Apollo has also been praised for being an open book about his gay identity and sex life –including his appreciation for spicy video phone calls.

During his recent interview on the Throwing Fits podcast, the “Evergreen” singer dished about long-distance relationships and the key to “fire Facetime sex.”

“I was more a fan of pictures. Facetime sex, I’ve only done a few times,” he admitted.

When co-host Lawrence Schlossman asked if he “busted” on one of his NSFW calls, Apollo joked that he “just got hard.”

The hilarious conversation took another unhinged turn after co-host James Harris asked if the Grammy-nominated artist was more of a “front-camera or back-camera” kind of guy.

“Back camera. I can’t show my face. Facetime sex is hot, not going to lie. I think because it’s like, you know… like if there is a screenshot, it’s like, oh f**k,” he explained.

“Something about the risk. It might be an inherently gay thing. Just like that adrenaline, you know what I mean?”

Elsewhere in his interview, Apollo opened up about his humble beginnings growing up gay in Hobart, Indiana, which he described as a “nightmare.”

When asked if his tall stature and good looks gave him any privilege, the Apolonio artist said, “I guess it [did]. I had sugar daddies and shit growing up.

“I didn’t have to do anything. [I] just answered the phone, and he would give me money.”

Towards the end of his statement, Apollo admitted to using the funds to buy items for his music aspirations, including a bass guitar and a laptop.

“But I mean, I was like 18-years-old. I was like a new gay. I didn’t want to come out, so I was just trying to be DL,” he added.

Apollo’s latest interview comes a few weeks before the release of his sophomore album, God Said No
